I have a wedding to attend on Saturday Nov 1st, the day after Holloween. It will be a traditional affair (church and downtown hotel ballroom) but this group has been know to do some pranking in the past.

What ideas do you have?

One rule: nothing that you would not be willing to do in front of grandma.

Maybe do some thing Day of the Dead related?

I was married on Nov. 1st.

The ceremony was traditional and formal (candlelit), but the rehearsal dinner was a little different. It was the night before (Halloween night). The entire bridal party dressed up. My Dad was a Rabbi, the best man came as the "Groom Reaper".

The affair was held at the fanciest restaurant in town- we had a rear private room. But we did have to walk through the restaurant. Everyone else was dressed in Tuxes. My wife and I dressed as clowns, including me walking on stilts, with purple hair. We each carried pumpkins- one a groom's head, one a bride's.

Quite a sight for the rest of the snobbery.

Be careful about pranks at the actual wedding. Could leave big scars, especially for some brides.

I would play it straight, but if the Bride & Groom prank, play along. It's one thing to be that guy here, but to rain on all the planning, pomp and circustance?

Oy....
