This neighbor clocked my retaining wall on the way down the road. This is pretty impressive since it's a few feet from the road, from the -straight- road, and no debris was left behind. The video (from across the street neighbor doorbell) is after they stopped to check out what happened, and they likely live in my tiny neighborhood. Pictures of the aftermath included. Our driveway is just in the background beyond the mailbox in the video
I'm going to guess Kia Sportage based on weird high headlights but that is a very fuzzy video.
Colombo would be checking out the cars in the neighborhood for damage.

Columbo doesn't have to go to work the next day
This whole sordid affair could likely have been avoided if only you had continued your Christmas lights along both sides of your driveway all the way down to the road.

Rant on: What I don't get is the slowdown, turn around deal. "Oh no, let's see if we caused any damage. Oh yup, we sure did, that wall is wrecked. Also there is debris, rocks in the driveway, these people won't even be able to pull in. I hope they see if before they pull in and get a flat tire. Kthxbye!"
What was the purpose of turning around?

To make sure they didn't leave any incriminating evidence behind?
Pretty sure that's Bigfoot.
Seriously though, I think ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ is on the right track, size and headlight placement looks like a Sportage or similar. I might guess Murano, just because this seems on brand for a Nissan owner.
Honestly, I can't even figure out where they hit the wall.
Not wanting to sound ageist, but who is the oldest person in your neighborhood that probably shouldn't be driving anymore? They were driving soooo slow.
Is there a "time stamp" on the video? If it was old people they'd be coming back from dinner before 6 pm. If it was after midnight, it had to be some crazy drunken Millennials.

Last month, I had just gotten kiddo (20 months) to sleep. Neighbors across the street pull in, absolutely blaring their music. Oddly enough, it was "50 ways to leave your lover" by Paul Simon. It was loud in my living room.
I go outside, ready to tell these kids to turn down their 40* year old pop music, only to be surprised that it isn't their high school kid or college kids, it was their Gen X parents (age 50ish).
Fun fact: Tuna is on the older end of millenial. As a generalization, we millenials are too old to be considered crazy nowadays, though many of us are still drunks.
*Edit: It is actually 46 year old pop music. Wow.

True technically but raised like gen X "here kid here's the key to the house. There's probably some food in there. Go to school or something in the daytime"
Curve ov the roof looks like Honda CR-V
Looks like a Nissan Rogue to me.
In reply to tuna55 :
Looks like a Sportage still except the better video shows a window aft of the rear doors, the Sportage has a solid C-pillar:
But maybe it's reflecting tht giant b-pillar chrome trim?
My next thought was new Escape, but the rear side window is a sharp down on that:
If it does have a c-window, it curves up like a Hyundai Tuscon, not down.
Maybe a new Rogue?
If the title of the video didn't pop up anytime you paused it, that would help. It pops up right where you need to look.
Old guy says: Cars today all look the same.

My first instinct when seeing the more clear video was Sportage, but there's some uncertainty
The end of the side glass does appear to be blunted like a Sportage:
After careful consideration, I am putting it all on "2020ish Kia Sportage"
Edit: specifically a lower-end model with the more subtle black faux diffuser and single-exit exhaust.

thanks, guys! I'll patrol a bit, but long driveways, garages, and people fronting in may prove a difficult plot point. I may just laminate a picture of the car and tape it to the mailbox like this:
