In Idiocracy you probably noticed that all the street-driven cars were the same electric grocery-getter with different paint jobs. They were GEM E4s, basically a golf cart with a full cabin:

These guys got a hold of the car that belonged to Frito (Luke Wilson's character's distant relative), this was the car that was hilariously riced out in the movie (well, moreso than the police cars etc). It caught fire at some point and the ricey bits are missing but these guys are restoring it to its former glory, and soon it will be ready to go to class at Costco and take the guys out for a Starbucks "full body" latte!

Frito (Dax Shepard) was Not Sure's (aka Joe...Luke Wilson) Lawyer. Not so much a distant relative that I recall.
Off to look for some Brawndo and Carl's Jr. now.

You're right. I remember he was Joe's lawyer but thought he was also a distant relative for some reason.

This thread has what plants crave.
Ahhh, T.J O'Handjobs, I loved that place in high school.
I'm just happy to see that the thread's really about cars that were actually in the film, and not some weird Craigslist find.
But I must admit, I ain't never seen no plants growing out of no toilet.
Welcome to the house of representin'
I got a three point plan to fix everything. Number one: we got this guy Not Sure. Number two: he's got a higher IQ than any man alive. And number three: he's going to fix everything.
I could really go for a Starbucks right now...
Just put at the top of my Netflix cue. It's been too long.
I grabbed it on DVD a while back. One of these days I'm going to get the kiddo to watch it, that way she too will learn to despair of the human race.
I watched a show called Americas got Talent and it had an "OW MY Balls" act.
Dang fool kept winning! Finally got booted, but I was worried.

I'm pretty sure that exact speech will be given at least a few dozen times this week in Tampa and next week in Charlotte..
