Aztek, what will happen ?
Looking at an 03 for a winter beater. Super low kms. Super clean. Super cheap. And brand new SNOW tires . . . what more could one want for winter driving.

Is 2003 after they got rid of the plastic lower clading? Those later Aztecs don't look all that bad to me. Its a shame that so few of them got the AWD option.
Rock on Zoo! I wouldn't be afraid to be seen in an '03 Aztec with a GRM sticker, or better yet a GRM dork decal!
Were they ever available with manual transmissions? I've never hated the look, honestly, and the utilitarian (and disposable) nature is appealing.
supposedly the Aztek was pretty well built by GM standards of the day. You are right though, once they colour coded the cladding, they looked a lot better
As a ugly as they are, they're not bad cars. A close friend has a Buick rendezvous, which is basically the same car, and it has been flawless. Ugly too, but a solid car. Ask the seller if the intake gaskets were ever changed. It's a common problem on the 3.4 engines.
They are actually pretty capable with AWD, and they are SUPER practical. As a winter beater, they would excel. Just put the GRM sticker on the underside...

I was thinking a phrase: "If it's good enough for Walter White . . ."

yea, but WW had an issue w/ windshields there for a while
not sayin' it would happen to a GRMer if ya kept yur nose clean
Here's one. I wonder if a s/c 3800 would kill the AWD drivetrain? Wouldn't that essentially be a bolt in swap? If it worked, it wouldn't quite be the GRM juke-R, but Aztek GXP sounds entertaining. Or maybe Aztek Warrior?
