I would think Ferrari. More wine cooler or Zima for a miata mechanic.

Miata seems to be a Yuengling to me. Great performance, low price.

I like to drink Molson XXX when i'm working on the MX6.

It's about as sophisticated as a hammer, and hits like one.

Thats boxed wine, no Ferrari driver would touch it....

5 30 packs of Pabst assisted my engine and transmission r&r on my Miata. I did not drink them by myself, I had plenty of help when the word got out that I was BBQ'ing and buying the suds.

I thought wine was the ingredient that got you to call that craigslist ad and drag home another project. Once you get to wrenching I'd skip the wine, though I sometimes wonder when I go back the next day and look at what I did.

Actually got one of those now. Must have skipped my Wheaties the day I bolted up my intake. Thing is leaking. Last night I got out my wrenches and discovered EVERY bolt was pretty lose. Oh well. It had to come off again anyhow for the big throttle body upgrade...

I was introduced to REAL Canadian Molsons on a race trip to Mosport. Most of that evening got a bit fuzzy.

I've never heard anything more ridiculous.

I don't drink while working on cars. It only dehydrates me, and it's a great way to forget to tighten bolts and have wheels/important bits fall off.

how in the world is drinking a martini the most rediculous thing. its my drink of choice. i dont drink beer. mikes lemonade gives me heartburn if im working hard. so martinis it is.

I think it's just drinking alcohol stronger than 5.5% while working.

And out of curiosity, why don't you drink beer? Granted, I'm a bit biased, but I think if you enjoy alcohol and don't have an allergy to any ingredients, there is a beer out there for everyone.

If you're into Mike's Hard, wine coolers, and stuff like that, try Shock Top. It's technically a beer, but it's really a sweet fruity girly malt beverage, that's got nicer body and a sweetness that's not completely overwhelming.

i dont drink beer because after years of trying i never found one that i thought tasted remotely even edible.

Funny, I like shocktop..but that stuff's pretty high on the calorie/alc rating.
