I need your help.
I'm working on a project in the used vehicle buying/selling world, and need to talk to a few people that have recently bought or sold a used vehicle (car , truck , motorcycle, atv, sxs, etc) online, in person, in the newspaper....whatever....say in the last 2 or 3 years.
I need to capture 30 min interviews from 5-10 from people all over the US for some product research. I have a set list of questions to ask everyone.
I have nothing to offer monetarily for your time, all I have to offer is my sincere thanks up front....and its not a scam!
It would be over zoom (so I can record audio). All I need is audio and not a single bit of personal info will be collected, not even your name if you don't want to share.
PM me or just respond here if you'd like to help....my hope is that this early research will end up helping me and you in the near future!

This post above starts a little scammy, but I notice that OneManArmy has over 200 posts and has been here for more than 5 years.. I'm not saying I fully endorse this post but I'm watching it.
No scams...not asking for anything from you except a few answers to a few questions. I don't need to know your name or anything. The only 'caveat' is that I need to record the convos.

Since 2019 I've bought 3 & am currently selling 1. 3 of them were here on GRM so I'm not sure that gives you any "real-world" data?
I'm pretty sure my buying and selling would screw up any data set you can come up with.
In the past two years I bought one real car through a real dealer but, maybe not. The dealer was Hertz Car Sales and it was the fire-sale, sell off of Hertz assets before filing bankruptcy. It was a no-haggle sale but it also was priced crazy low. Like, $10k low after the market spiked. $15k purchased that then spiked in value up to $25k.
Other than that, my recent purchases (and sales) have been $500-$6k Prius.

Im approaching the 200 mark so yeah....I think I'd be a statistical outlier there as well

I have bought 2 used motorcycles privately, two SUV's, one private and one new from a dealer and one used pickup from a dealer in the last three years. But I am Canadian.
In the last 3 years I've sold 1 motorcycle and 3 cars and bought 4 cars and 1 motorcycle. Happy to talk, reach out to me and we can try and schedule something
In the past ~3 years I've sold one car to Carvana, sold one to a private party, and purchased one from a private party. Expand the criteria to 5 years and I also bought from a private party and another from a dealership.
