there's enough of these sorts of videos floating around (that's not a bad thing) that VH1 needs to have a weekly show webmining them to support and promote the "save the music" campaign, where viewers can vote online and the winning school's music program receives financial funding or a grant. At the end of the season have the winning school groups come perform in NYC live for a larger purse and the winners appear with Jimmy Fallon (since he's into that type of stuff).
it'd be incredibly cheap to produce, I'm really surprised that this hasn't happened. I could see Ellen and the Today Show getting behind the finalists for each season as well, providing time for performances on air and interviews.
