Irene took this old oak down in my backyard before she headed north. Made a bit of a crash. Lotsa firewood here. I might need a new chainsaw before this is all over.

Are you referring to the brace on my right knee? Old running injury. It acts up every now and then. I figured as long as I was being a lumberjack, that the extra support was probably a good thing.

As straight as it is you might call a mill and see if they will buy it from you. There is some mighty pretty lumber in that tree.

^^ YES ^^ they are way cheaper than you think to mill some lumber. that is a nice big oak
