GT4 that is lol, that is all.
I'm doing the same, on Live for Speed. Just bought my S2 license, which gives access to all cars and tracks.
yeah going after my international A not too easy, I think i need a steering wheel and pedal setup, hmm....gotta get that maybe next week lol, happy new year btw
I just bought a SL65AMG woot its abit of a whale thru the corners. The GTA games are also pretty fun after you walk strait eny more!!
Back when I was into GranTurismo2, I had steering setup on the analog stick instead of d-pad. MUCH nicer to drive that way. Never owned a wheel so i can't really compare.

Of course, FAR better. I found a good way to set it up was to use the left stick for steering, the right stick for gas/brake, and set it up with left stick all the way to the top/bottom for shifting. That was the only game that allowed that setup, but ever since I've used a similar setup whenever using a gamepad with a PC driving game (set up with a programmable joystick, vertical deadzones on the left stick to 99%)
yeah I need a new controller this one is starting to get all wonky on me, it is 10ish years old lol.

I managed to get 100% in this game about a year ago with nothing more than a DS2.
I am not saying a wheel and pedal setup wouldn't make the game more fun, just that they are not necessary for success.
Also, I hated trying to pass the test where you have to win that race on the Ring with the lead car getting a 2 minute head start for no other reason than you have to sit there for 2 minutes.

I'm faster with the DFP on the road races, but never would have finished the dirt rallies without the DS2. The force feedback on the wheel is a little weird..IMO the resistance gets stronger instead of lighter when you lose front grip. Regardless of hand speed, I just couldn't spin the thing fast enough to countersteer properly in the rallies.
I gotta admit, I'm not 100% complete yet. I still have Mission 34 and 18? ("3-Lap magic @ LeMans) to go. And I screwed up my last pit stop at the Monaco GP, and only got a silver....and I still have to do the stupid GT World Championship thing at Opera Paris Reverse. Man, I hate street courses...
