I had a New Bright one many moons ago, but this is in a whole other league.

I've long wanted to be able to mow my lawn with an R/C tractor pulling some kind of... well... mower. I guess an R/C combine harvester might make more sense, but I don't find them as cool...

You know, modern tractors drive themselves and everything is tracked via a GPS map of each field. Then the previous year's yield is used to determine where/how much fertilizer to apply across each part of the field. It seems like only a matter of time before something similar is available for the homeowner's yard.

Haven't you guys seen the vids by the guy digging out his basement using toys?

Here is his site. He is actually a pretty good operator. Hard to tell its not full size excavators.

I've watched tractors work fields by remote control before GPS was active. Lowrance for example. It's not new.

Claas, years ago, had all this, and the ability to go switch implements all by itself, on the fly.

I forgot about that guy! I sort of got lost for half a day watching the videos and then researching RC excavators.

In the spring, when the baby corn comes up, they're going to have a heck of a stir-fry!

When I was a kid (well, teenager) I built a radio-controlled tractor using one of those die cast John Deere models and some spare RC car equipment. It was pretty cool. Geared it down like crazy for scale pulling power.
