I already have a fatboy used Nascar fuel guy racing suit. My wife bought me a new smoker. If this weekend is any indication of what the summer is going to be like, Im gonna need to find a maternity fire suit.
Yesterday, chicken was the first thing I cooked as a practice run.
Today was all about her favorite, brisket.
What kind of smoker did you get? I repaired mine this year, but it looks like I'm going to be getting a new one in the next year or so.
If money magically appears, I'm getting a Traeger pellet smoker. As much as I hate how easy they are, the easy button does make things, well, easier. If not, I'm either going to build another barrel smoker or make use of the stainless rod that's been on my porch forever and make a rotisserie smoker.
God that brisket looks good. I should make a batch of BBQ sauce to bring up when I come get that seat.

The Pit Barrel Cooker. Its much nicer than my old vertical smoker.

Nice, I've been looking at those for a while. My side by side is starting to show it's age. Keep us posted on it through the year, I'd like to see longevity from someone i "know" versus a guy on a blog(and a bunch of really good reviews).

The fact that I don't quite fit in to my suits (racing or otherwise) is a large part of my plan to clean up the ol' diet.
