Is it to early to guess the situation? My guess is you got taken in for questioning because of the "accidents" your wife is having lately. First you "forget" to tighten her suspension then you had a guy try to take her out while she was driving.

Have you seen his car projects? Much more nefarious and oncerning than the above, could be undergoing some forced sanity/competence hearings. I wish him luck. The fact that he sees himself as a car is not going to help his cause. Plus the anger thing.
