OK, not professionally speaking. Though I really do think the publication suffers from a definite lack of fine illustration
But that's my blonde mop looking down at the Van Dieman cockpit in the 2nd picture.

Cool. I bet that was a lot of fun.
So, what exactly do you do for a living? You've had some posts that make me quite jealous.
Will you autograph my issue for me?

DrBoost, I drive cars and then jot down my delusional opinions of them.
And I get to scribble pretty pictures of more cars for the Toronto Star.

I'm quite curious as to entry into that field as well. I've been told I have a way with words, and I like cars....

The only advice I can offer (besides making sure you marry well, since the pay sucks) is to do whatever you can to get published as often as you can. It may mean writing for free, or in exchange for invitations, exposure, introductions... that sort of thing, until you've established a recognizable byline.
Lesley should write for GRM

Nope. I bow to the gods at GRM, I know enough to know...that I don't know enough to aspire to that level of wrenchin' & writin' greatness.
But thanks guys, that's why I love y'all.

I know that I was rooting for her when the opportunity arose that ultimatly became Alan Ceasar.
Sorry for the hijack, but is there any cool car stuff to see in Toronto? I'm going to be staying there on business for several weeks in September, including the weekend of the 17th-18th. I've already got the big British car show on the 18th on my list.
Lesley, so cool. Where is your own article going to appear? Or were you just there on a whim?
cool... she's famous! (or at least her hair is)
That's awesome, now if C&D would just class the place up and use your art...
