Inaugural Race for Research - June 16-18 Event for Down syndrome research (Not Spam)

My Sister Barbara (Driver) and her daughter Anna (Navigator) are participating in the inaugural Race for Research, a road rally in NC. This three-day event will raise funds for Down syndrome cognition research. David Ragan, third-generation NASCAR driver, will serve as the event’s Honorary Chair as teams of friends and supporters take to the North Carolina highways, navigating their way from Winston-Salem’s Bowman Gray Speedway to the finish line at Charlotte’s NASCAR Hall of Fame.

My sister Barb used to do road rallys around the Chapel Hill area when she did her grad school there and is psyched to be able to do this event with her daughter. Anna (13) has Down syndrome and is very mainstream and at her proper grade level. They work together very well as a team and I just wish I could join them. If you can, please join me in supporting both them and this important cause.

Just a quick update. As of the lunch break yesterday team Xtra Chrom was tied for 1st place with a perfect score. Their lunch stop was at Frontrow Motorsports in Statesville. Looks like an awesome shop. My shop floor will never be that clean.
