And the Lotus teams are already black-flagged for lack of speed. That has got to be really embarassing.

Yeah, but at least they weren't black-flagged for leaking oil or spontaneously combusting while on the track.

They were black flagged before they had the chance.

Juan Montoya isn't racing that series anymore.

Not exactly true... They were given more than ample time between being pushed out of the garage and the start of the race to set themselves on fire.
At least Alessi has a wicked-cool hat!!!
I suppose I should turn on the TV, but with Danica gone, won't there just be long stretches of silence, followed by no crash?
I thought this was going to be a big "We miss Danica/ Dan" pity party. The Dan Wheldon tribute at the begining was nice, but they really have only mentioned his name twice since. Race is pretty good, but the cars are hideous.
I don't always watch Indycar, but when I do, I usually see Andretti pout like a little girl and Sato crash.
Well Andretti manage to take over the crashing duties today too.
I am not saying Sato sucks, he just takes some big risks that rarely pay off. I would have much rather seen Sato drinking the milk than Franchitti. I hate seeing a Ganassi car win anywhere.
What's the deal with white framed sunglasses this year? I think half the drivers and teams are wearing them.

I have no idea... During the pre-race stuff, Mary Hulman George (or whatever her name is) was wearing them. I couldn't figure out why someone would need 3-D glasses just to give the command to start engines.
Anti-stance wrote: How long until Sato crashes? I say lap 125. give or take 3 laps.
Sato crashed on lapp 199 trying to pass Franchiti.
I think Marco's pit strateegy ruined any chance he had.

Ahh... Makes sense. Watched the race with the volume off.

With Danica finally gone the commentary was tolerable; at least until they had all the gratuitous Ashley-crap at the end.
