I'm a traditionalist as well. All of my Instagram photos were taking with my iPhone 4S.
Know what helps photos quality? Clean the lens every now and then. A Q-tip works just fine. Amazing how removing pocket lint helps.

Absolutely, and even using the different settings can make a difference like landscape, backlight and night. My phone has a macro setting that makes close up details really clear and crisp.
Mine are all cell pictures. My first digital camera was only 1.4mp. Phone cameras have come a long way. My cell phone is 8mp, which is pretty damn good.
Here's how I see it: I have this camera in my phone, so how can I use it to take cool photos and tell a story? I also tend to keep my captions short: one or two words, usually, with four being my max. Like Twitter, it's a communication venue that happens to be fun.

If I remember correctly, the first digital camera we had at the mag was a Nikon Coolpix 950: 1.9 megapixels. How far we have come, right?
In reply to David S. Wallens:
Mine was a Sony. The media was 3.5" floppy disks. Each disk would hold about 25 pictures.
I just dumped 3000 pictures off my phone.
Something I just learned via Instagram: A high school friend just purchased some Batgirl Underoos. Not sure if they're her size or not.
In reply to David S. Wallens:
Did she post photos of just the undies themselves or her wearing them?
Just the box. @jennabusch. Her beat is the comic/sci-fi/geek world. She co-hosts a show with Stan Lee, so right there that's a major win.
And not to thread jack my own tread, but if you're into geek culture, give Jenna a follow. She's on all of the hip social networks.
Just looked her up, looks like my kind of stuff. Lack of attractive women wearing Batman underoos not withsanding.
If anyone digs 70's era muscle cars, check this place out:

There's some pretty awesome stuff in there.
Bump for some cool pages I think the grm crowd would like
Check out
@mercedesold - lots of wild 80s Mercedes tuner cars.
@cruisefocus - lots of photos of car meets and track events in Japan.. Mostly older cars
@rattymusclecars - self explanatory
@theautoarcheologist - does a "barn find" column for hot rod, posts pictures of all his barn finds
@wesleyallison and @larry(underscore)chen(underscore)foto - magazine photogs
I'm on there as well. I like the pictures. It's a lot better than any of the other social media outlets. @bmw88rider is my name on there. It's mostly a mix of my travel pictures and pictures from the different races I work.
Hopefully this year I can add some pictures from LeMans to my feed :)
Just figured I would dig this up again. Anybody else find anything good on Instagram, or recently join? My posts have become mostly baby-related, but once my cars aren't under a foot of snow that will hopefully change again.
@trentliles
Mostly whatever I am working on that day.
