Either way, yeah, she needs to get out ASAP.

You might want to think about this logically. You don't want attention from the type of people she's around, and probably dealing with, on both sides. Let the proper authorities handle it, or "mind your own business." I don't see how any good can come from you getting involved directly.

Would you be so concerned about a neighborhood dealer effing up her life, and want to talk to her about it, if it wasn't in fact a "her" but was a "him?" If it was some nasty fat hairy dude who sits around watching porn and playing X-box all day, would you still be all about having a heart-to-heart? Don't let the fact that it happens to be a cute girl fuzzy-up your decision-making process and get you in trouble.

Report is going to be handled as soon as circumstances permit. We don't need a squad car pulling up in my driveway right now so discretion is a must. Retaliation can be a bitch in this town so it's safety first. I'll keep y'all posted. It is going to get done.

Make sure you relay to the police that you don't want any uniformed officers, P71s, Impalas, Chargers, or new Interceptors in your driveway.

Report is done, had to schedule a meeting w/ officer at the station as I said we don't need a squad car seen in my driveway. Officer took all relevant info, I was pleased w/ it all. I chose to remain anonymous as I don't need anything coming back to me or my family. He said added patrols will happen but recommended a 911 call next time it happens... now here's the kicker as to why I didn't want to report it through 911.

Recently, I was telling my buddy's wife about listening to the local PD scanner online when her son jumped in... you can get an app for that on your phone, all the kids have it.... spoken from a 15 y/o.

On a 911 call the dispatcher will ask the callers name, address and phone number which can and has been broadcast over the dispatch radio to police for all to hear. Even the bad guys have easy scanner access these days. Of course you can remain anonymous but many don't. In an emergency, no problem to me giving my info. In this situation, no berkeleying way.

You may want to consider how the system works in your area before possibly putting your info out there for all to hear.

Here is the computer version of the same website/app that I use for free on my Android phone.

For the last two years I lived on a busy road and I turn this on when I heard sirens in the area. I have never heard a 911 call go over the air. This could vary by area.

I know you've already acted on this but wanted to let you know that I pretty much call the non emergency police line anytime I see something suspicious. If I see suspicious activity, it's probably suspicious to me because something unsavory is going on. I'm not much of an alarmist, so if I think it's worthy of calling the cops, I go with it.

One time I noticed some silly patterns of driving that were not logical. The same red van would park on my street and one block over (a typical route while walking with the kids and dog). Every so often, the thing would fire up, go blasting down the street, and park on the other street. Repeat ad nauseam. Weird...

I called the police and said I just figure they're either delivering donor hearts and kidneys...or doing something suspicious.

Later that night they hauled a guy away in cuffs. The van was stolen.

Another time I heard LOUD shouting and crashing from inside the next-door-neighbors' house. I thought about it for a minute and called the police. Police came and went. Next time I saw the neighbor, he asked me if I knew about why the cops came.

This one took some forethought and a lot more guts than I normally have...I honestly told him..."Yes, I know why the cops came. They came because I called them. What I could hear from INSIDE my house that was happening INSIDE your house sounded bad and I wouldn't feel right if someone got hurt and I didn't try to help. I didn't feel like I could talk to you about it...it sounded like something needed to happen NOW." For what it's worth, the guy seemed ok with that and continued to say hi and such when we saw each other. I don't think he liked it...but he didn't get all nasty or vengeful (like it would have helped, anyway).

I'm not in the drug culture, but it's REALLY obvious when a drug deal is going down. I mean...when they're not trying to hide it, anyway. If you think you're seeing a drug deal, you almost certainly are.

Yup, radioreference is it, I listen to my county PD/ FD/ EMS broadcast over the computer. 911 doesn't broadcast the actual call-in but can relay the callers info (name, address, phone #) in the dispatch to PD.

My county radio system is pretty antiquated... meaning we're poor. I hear all radio traffic between city and county PD/ FD/ EMS except State Police, they're private channel now. Even hear Medevac chopper pilots and their EMTs when they cross patch to ground units and hospitals.

Pretty interesting, YMMV in your area
