Anyone here have experienced with invisible fence for dogs?
They are all made by the same people. I installed a YardMax last year and I am very happy with it. There is very little warning as the dog approaches the line, but the reminder continues until he returns to the safe zone. You can maximize the dog's area as you can put it right on the property line and the dog can use the whole yard instead of just getting within six feet of the edge.
With an old style system, the signal is strongest right over the line. The dog gets a mild stim 6 feet from the line and it gets stronger as he approaches the line, then it tapers down as he gets six feet beyond the line. Then nothing, but it will shock him if he tries to get back in. YardMax doesn't punish him for coming home.
I wanted to use a wireless system, and had used one in the same yard many years ago, but since then, my neighbors installed an in ground system near the property line and the signal interferes with the wireless system. It gave me about 320 degrees of coverage, with a 40 degree open door to the neighbor's yard. That's why I went in ground.
Ok. We have stupid/ignorant neighbors that must be antagonizing our otherwise docile dog and she will dig under traditional fences so need a game plan that will work

Here's your game plan that will work.
That's the guy that I got mine from. He is an authorized (warranty) dealer. He was incredibly helpful on the phone when I had a question. You can also get them with more wire or an extra collar if you need to.
Here’s photographic evidence that the above mentioned system works. Here we see a very anxious and excitable dog sitting on the line waiting for her favorite kid to get off the school bus. She followed me to the line and sat down as I continued on.
Good dog!
There's a recent discussion on this topic, might be helpful.
In the meantime here's an example of one potential use...
We have one, it was expensive, but they ran the wire underground and put it wherever we wanted. For example, you can tell them to go around certain floor beds, trees, etc. and custom design the area the dog can go. Ours is currently being worn by our 1.5 year old chocolate lab, who is energetic, excitable, and quick. There is no way we could catch him if he took off after something like say the UPS truck, and the fence has kept him from running after the UPS truck on multiple occasions. He learned the fence lines early and the fence really works. But..... the fence is of no use if people cross your property line. So you need to be aware of your state, county, and city animal control laws.
How do you handle your driveway? For instance, I'd like to have the wire go across the bottom of my driveway, that way my dog could roam my entire front and side yards...

Folks I know who have it have it running along the side of the driveway; basically they don't go across it. Wireless gets you around this.
Moot issue for me as I have a Great Pyrenees who would laugh at an electric fence and then trot away to go protect the world.
Re the driveway, on mine I laid the wire in one of the expansion joints from side to side and covered it with the latex concrete crack filler. It works great for our two boxers. I didn't bury it but attached to the vinyl post and rail fence across the front of the yard. On the sides and the back I just laid it on top of the ground. The sides and back are heavy woods so it doesn't take too long for the wire to get covered up.
