Hi All,

Looking for a cable preferably HDMI to connect Ipad/Iphone/Laptop to my TV. Does anybody have any recommendations to good products? I would also consider wireless connection to my TV if possible.

You can get a Ipad to hdmi connector from apple. Won't work with your laptop. Most recent laptops have an HDMI out, but may still have an older vga out. Some flat screen tv's have vga connections. VGA doesn't do sound, so you have to have a separate sound connection.

No all in one connector available on the market, that also produces sound?

If your computer is an apple device, I'd recommend an Apple TV. If not, a chromecast would probably work (depending on what sources you're trying to stream).

Both will (IMO) be far easier than monkeying with trying to change a cable between devices.

I would purchase a wireless cord, but my budget is $50 and under.

I need one that I can use for both my Windows Based Laptop and my ipad/iphone. Looks like that only works for apple products.

Doesn't exist for under $50.

Windows/Laptop can use a VGA, DVI or HDMI connector depending on age and configuration. VGA/DVI will require an additional sound connection 1/4" headphone to RCA cable. So that could be two cables. Check out what you have and look at monoprice.com to order the proper cables/adapters for a very reasonable price.

Ipad/iPhone require a special adapter from Apple to adapt the older 30-pin connector or the newer "lightning" connector to HDMI. Then you can use an HDMI cable to connect to your TV. Again, order the HDMI cable in the proper length from monoprice.com.

Biggest issue you'll face is that thanks to DMCA, most HDMI connections require a digital "handshake" or encryption key to provide full usage of the HDMI solution (full HD and sound). So you can't use just any adapter and expect it to work 100%, so you have to pony up for the factory certified Apple adapters and good quality HDMI cables and make sure the laptop has all of the software and drivers up to date.
