I know we have a few other Maiden fans here, and we saw them again this Saturday. For whatever reason their world tour included two days in Florida. So we did the only rational thing: go see them. Another awesome, awesome show.
I didn't take a ton of pics because I didn't want to be that guy, but here's a link to two that I did shoot: http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/staff/David/scream-me-south-florida/
The set list featured both old and new material. They opened with some songs from the new album, but they also did The Trooper, Fear of the Dark, Iron Maiden, Number of the Beast, Running Free and, of course, Hallowed Be thy Name. Good stuff.
Edit: Here's the set list: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/iron-maiden/2011/bankatlantic-center-sunrise-fl-33d3a065.html
I thought Fear of the Dark was mandatory. One day, I'll be close enough to see 'em.

I'd vote for that.
Me too. Get them to play the Challenge!!!
Maiden is amazing live. I saw them a few years ago on the last stop of the 2nd leg of the Somewhere Back In Time tour (in Mansfield, MA), which was the one where they just played their old stuff. It was a religious experience.
The crazy thing was there was a line of really bad thunderstorms coming through the area as the show was opening up. Of course, I had the open air seats, so I was just sitting there hoping not to get struck by lightning. Then, I had a funny thought. If I got struck by lightning at an Iron Maiden concert and died, that would be the most metal way to die. EVER!!!

Well, there is an airport down the street. Wonder if they'd bring Ed Force One....

And some background on the plane:
