Is it safe

to take the Blizzaks off yet ?

I got the three season tires out of the store room and ready.

I dunno.  

I thought about doing it the last two weekends and it snowed each time.  

Don't want it jinx it this time...

Go sign up for a rallycross. Its a good excuse to leave them on.

I still chuckle every time I see a snow tire thread remembering the time my dad bought a truck with Nokians on it and drove on them all summer in Kentucky and Tennessee. He then put some Kumho all terrains on it in the fall.

The two worst snow storms I’ve ever been in were both in April. One on the East Coast and one in the Midwest. 

The way I decided to solve this problem was to leave the Blizzaks on the Mini for now and just use the bike or the Miata if it was nice enough.

What I did was just move back to Texas lol

I swapped out the tires on the ZAV last weekend.  The job escalated.  It went from an hour wheel change to a weekend long wheels, brake pads, unstick the caliper pistons, replace the front CV axle job.  But, I've been driving it through the torrential rain we've been having this week. 

Back in December, I would convince myself that winter is not so bad by telling myself all I have to do is get through two more months and March will start to get nice. Well, March has been miserable and it doesn’t look like the start of April is going to be much better. I guess the Miata will stay in hibernation a little longer.
