That sweet spot in a gear when the angle and sweep of the tachometer needle matches the angle and sweep of the speedometer needle? Instrumental G-Spot, maybe? Suggestions?

I'd post a pic, but I don't know what term to search on?

I once raced a car that had such a big turbo, that the boost gauge swept in unison with the tach, both reaching the upper limit at the same time. That was odd.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, you have it.

The tach and speedo both pointing at the 8 isn't a good thing on a long trip. Just in case you wanted to know.

Hahaha - reminds me of one of my car buddies. He's a smart guy, but I had to explain to him why just because that happened in 3rd gear it didn't mean that 3rd gear was 1:1.

Seems like a good place for this. A friend and I bought a Camaro (86) to go drag racing with a blown up 2.8L. You know how the gages stick on some cars if they shut off the right way? No gas, no oil pressure, 6 grand, overheating.

Nice work, someone... nice work.

It ran a lot better with the 400.
