My Googlefu fails me.
In the video for Micheal Jackson's "Bad", a chorus member in a red shirt appears in one scene. He's really no where near the dancer that the rest of the cast is, and doesn't appear in the rest of the video, including shots that include the entire cast.
Bad
He sure bears a resemblance to Weird Al Yankovic.
He starts at 3:44. Of particular note is the rather obvious self ass grab at 3:50 (just the kind of thing Weird Al would do).
Did Jackson plant a bit of a marketing gimmick? (Especially considering Weird Al's later classic, "Fat")

Wowsa, Quincy Jones, Martin Scorsese and it still was so cheesy
he wasn't in the Bad video, but Weird Al's version was better in every conceivable way..

Weird Al is better than MJ in every conceivable way, but without MJ he would not have gotten as far as he has.
Seems I remember that Weird Al had MJ's blessing to do 'Eat It', to the point of MJ suggesting using some of the same dancers/costumes/etc from 'Beat It'.

I always liked the knife fight scene with the rubber chicken, fork and spoon.
I heard Weird Al on Raw Dog Comedy on XM and he said MJ was usually very cool with him doing that. Wanted to get copies of all the lyrics and everything Weird Al wanted to do and would add his own stuff to it. Seems they had a pretty good relationship.
He said the only person who absolutely NEVER allowed him to do anything was Prince. Every time he'd try, he'd get shot down very hard.
I remember hearing that as well. Seems ol' Prince or
or whoever he is now is sort of a tightass.

Yeah, he may have a dose of crazy, but the guy is a bona fide musical genius. Love Prince.
I honestly am not a big Prince or MJ fan, but there is no denying there is a ton of talent there. Or was, in MJ's case.
