Every year, we obviously watch the classics like Halloween, but we always look for new ones..........we also love cheesy/campy ones as well.
In the last few years we've watched such gems as:

Hobo with a Shotgun
Rubber
Velocipastor
Llamageddon
Killer Sofa
Trick or Treat
etc.
We also watched the new Salem's Lot last night, which was pretty good.
I made my girlfriend watch The Curse of the Wererabbit this week. Somehow she'd never heard of Wallace and Grommit. It's not scary but very amusing.
I usually try to work Highway to Hell into my October repertoire.

Yes! Rubber! You'll think twice about torturing a tire again after watching that film.

Not obscure, I watched the Evil Dead Rise newer movie last night on Netflix. Not bad, it had a few call-backs to the original series.

We recently watched a campy late 80's movie "Sundown: a vampire in retreat" and had a blast. The perfect good, bad movie. Unintentionally hilarious with some fantastic scenery chewing.
It has everything from Deborah Foreman being gorgeous, Quincy punks, western shootouts, david Carradine being hyper dramatic, Bruce Campbell doing his thing and the single worst twist reveal in cinema history.
0 out of ten, highly recommended
I have seen so many horror movies.
Good recommendation there about Rubber but it is not for everyone.
The Cabin in the Woods should be on this list.
