Nor will any of the others. Did a search and found around 20 listings of theirs. Are they rly getting that kind of money for scrap?

They are featured regularly on Barnfinds. All are spectacularly ruined exotics and classics and all have been waiting there for decades. They seem to be slowly releasing the cars from a collection of some kind. Maybe the owner worked for some kind of higher end insurance company back in the day.

That place is pretty amazing. Those guys have some nice and incredibly rare cars, but those are the ones they won't sell. I believe they still have a Mercedes 500k worth millions.

A burned out 914-6 for $19,000 are they freaken nuts!!! The only part of any value is the vin plate.
And that's the only car I have experience with.

Well, how much is a 914-6 worth, and how much would it cost to buy a 914 as a "parts car" to rebuild the -6?
Not saying I'd do it, but the economy of rare cars is weird.
