"It was not the first time Camping was forced to explain when his prediction didn't come to pass. The 89-year-old retired civil engineer also prophesied the Apocalypse would come in 1994, but said later that didn't happen then because of a mathematical error.
Through chatting with a friend over what he acknowledged was a very difficult weekend, it dawned on him that instead of the biblical Rapture in which the faithful would be swept up to the heavens, May 21 had instead been a "spiritual" Judgment Day, which places the entire world under Christ's judgment, he said.
The globe will be completely destroyed in five months, he said, when the apocalypse comes. But because God's judgment and salvation were completed on Saturday, there's no point in continuing to warn people about it, so his network will now just play Christian music and programs until the final end on Oct. 21."
OK, so the end is coming in October? When this doesn't happen, is this three strikes and he's out?
I mean, the guy is older than dirt. He cant have but a few more times to get it wrong before he gets his answer.
OK, so what is the situation now? I see two possible scenarios:
1 - We are NOW being judged, so we need to be on our best behavior if we don't want to be cast into hell, he's not talking about Detroit right?
2 - We were all ALREADY judged on Saturday, so it's free for all time. No need to worry about what we do since we have already been judged.
Well, hopefully the man in the sky will give some of use mansions
Option 3... Old coot remains irrelevant despite bleating endlessly to the contrary.
Even Ernie can't believe it.

Well, given that the guy is a retired civil engineer, I'm hoping that there aren't too many bridges or levees out there that suffered from his math skills.
