Nothing even stuck to the berkeleying roadways. It was snowing and hella windy for most of the day, hardly a snowstorm. I bet they were all transplants experiencing their first winter.
It barely stuck on the ground here in Red Wing.

According to the Star Tribune , three were from MN and one was a pedestrian struck by a vehicle that lost control. So no, not transplants.
The Elantra SuperSport has snow tires coming, do your worst! 
That kind of storm is the worst kind. Condition makes it slippery and drivers are not ready for it
