It is hatching season and I finally pulled the trigger on something I have wanted for a long long time.
I haven't thought of a name yet.

That is awesome, but two problems. Id never be able to say it properly, and the snake will be solid green in a year
Awesome! I've wanted one for awhile but I'm scared of their temperament...let me know how she is!
I have some girls in the house as well: Cara Lucy (she's a meanie)

My wife just got a BRB as well. Lucy looks awesome. Both of my snakes are reluctant to strike, but will if you mess with them too much. Some of the clutch mates of the Green Tree were strking at the enclosure while i was trying to open it. They can be a handfull, but if you have the time to chose what you want you can find one that won't try to bite you ALL the time.
My suggestion: Princessssssssss
We usually rotate through a group of local snakes in our terrarium. Right now we have a green tree snake, but he'll be going home in two weeks. My FIL is an ecologist and a teacher, so anything we catch in our back yard he uses in class to teach the kids about their local wildlife. We keep them for about two weeks so all the classes can see them, then they get turned loose again. My favorites are the ringnecks. We have them in droves around here.
