Its in the showroom at the McLaren dealership down the road from SWMBO's parents house so we stopped in for a look see.
I'll add a few more pics later, but here's one with a dork in it.

My soon to be father in law also just showed me some stuff from McLaren and Lotus F1 teams that they sent him back in the 60s when he wrote them. There's autographs of several drivers including a Jim Clark in there.
He also has shown me all his old programs from the F1 races he attended back in the 70s and 80s. Man there is some cool history here.
I like it. I guess it makes sense that there are McLaren dealers, but I've never been to one. Not sure if I've even seen one. Cool that they have that car and it's just parked in the lobby. Do you know if it is still operable? Wondering if they periodically fire it up.
Does the floor sign say M25 or M26? I was under the impression the M26 was a F1 car from the get-go but the M25 was originally designed as a F5000 car. It never raced in F5000, though, and I think the current owner of that car has a Cosworth in it racing in Historic F1 races...
Its an M26, from what I understand there's about half a dozen M26 chassis out there. This one and is still owned by McLaren and they do keep them in drivable condition I think.
The dealer in LA that my friend works at has Kimis 2006 car in their showroom, I haven't gotten to check that one out yet.
