This is a few weeks old, so you guys may have already seen it. If so, sorry for bringing it up again:

This sort of brings me to Top Gear, which returns to your haunted fish tank tomorrow evening.

What we won't be doing is being in any way fashionable. Last year Clarkson was voted the worst-dressed man on British television. I think I came second. Hammond rather let the side down by only coming 10th.
There is no clothing allowance and no wardrobe department. If you want more presentable presenters you will have to watch absolutely anything else.
People keep asking me why Top Gear is so successful. It beats me, to be honest, but I wonder if it might be because we haven't yet fallen into the trap of seeing cars as some extension of the style milieu, blah blah blah.
It's all a bit Eighties, I suppose, but we're still car journalists who actually like cars as cars....
I always thought part of the success of the show was the fact it makes it ok to have some fun and enjoy life. So many things are to proper and boring. I don't think I could see the Motor Week dudes on TV try and do anything like the challenges they do. The Power block guy I could see doing it.

Hahahaha
But what's this? It's a fashion shoot. You know the sort of thing. Ferrari California in the background, wistful woman in an expensive scarf, and some idiot leaning on things.
The captions read something like "Roberto wears shirt by Orly Korly, casual trouser by Sartoriali Faggotoni, earnest facial expression that make you want to defile his perfect cheekbones with a crowbar, model's own shoes".

The reason Top Gear works is because it's obvious that the hosts are having a ton of fun making the show and their enthusiasm is just infectious. Simple as that.

Smart people doing stupid things = win, no matter how they're dressed

haha, me too, makes it infinitely funnier...I have a friend with a hardcore New York accent, and when he posts on our forum, I read it with his accent and it makes anything he says infinitely funnier.
Just finished 15.2. No changes. Still the best auto show on the telly. The GRM of the tv world dare I say.
on the final gear site, they've amused themselves in the past by tracking how many times James May wore a certain shirt. I think it'd been in a dozen episodes.
