Sorry, I didn't watch the video as I have dial-up....it's a bitch being cash-starved. But if you've ever been to Japan you'd see that it's actually a very well thought out place, with just a few oddities (to "Western" eyes). One example? How about vending machines that offer hot AND cold canned drinks out of 1 machine?
How about vending machines that dispense canned soiled womens undergarments? Nothing weird about that at all.

Heaven on earth.
Usually when I have the Hershey squirts I don't/can't sing about it...
I'm not even sure what that was all about. Wow...

Glad to hear that before the next road trip.

I watched about 10 seconds of that and then got really disturbed.
Imagine being the Japanese guy watching us dip everything in butter, deep fat frying it, or our infatuation with all things bacon. We're all weird.
What's so weird? I find every time I get bad diarrhea, doing the chicken dance in a bikini cures it right away.

We may think they are weird. But, they think we are too. and they keep most ot the really cool cars for themselves.

I saw many vending machines in Japan, none that sold women undergarments.

When I worked at Amada, several of the Japanese guys were quite weirded out by how often I'd put raw carrots in my lunchbox.

They do, or at least did, exist.

That type of thing is not restricted to vending machines, either:
http://gakuranman.com/panty-vending-machines/ "Oh, and on a side note, I did also stumble upon used underwear for sale! It wasn’t in a vending machine, but one of the shops crammed into Akihabara, the popular electronics district in Tokyo. There were photos of the women who had worn the underwear along with the matching garment up for sale! I guess they have to cater for everybody’s needs…"
