There is literally a media code of silence on that type of stuff. Guaranteed it'll be stifled VERY quickly.

I'm always shocked when people stop their cars.

Crap that happened where i'm from. My dad still lives 15 minutes from there.
GTA prepared me too, that's why I'd stop my car after running people over. They drop cash, dont'cha know.
In related news, http://news.yahoo.com/zimmerman-protesters-raid-la-store-075210080.html The interesting part was at the bottom.
Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer sent a letter Monday to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder supporting the Justice Department decision to review the case to determine whether Martin's civil rights were violated. "I respect the fact that the jury has spoken ... but I don't think this should be the last word," Boxer wrote in the letter.
So it's not bad enough that they tried so hard to get something to stick onto Zimmerman, no to murder? How bout manslaughter? No? Okay, what about child abuse? But now you have people legitimately trying to get CIVIL berkeleyING RIGHTS VIOLATIONS brought up. berkeleying christ I hate America.

That's what I thought when watching one of those videos. There was a line of police cars and a stream of protesters walking past them. Some of the protesters threw their signs and one guy kicked a cop car, I was watching the driver's door, waiting for it to open.

Google is your friend. Type "MS jogger attacked Zimmerman". You'll find plenty of links.
I'm gonna avoid posting the links because I don't want to have to be the judge of which are credible. I don't have time for that crap, and I'm sure I'll get jumped if someone disagrees with me.

berkeleying ridiculous. All of those "protestors" are worthless pieces of E36 M3. I don't give a flying banana sandwich what pissed them off, to go around and damage innocent people's property and throwing E36 M3 at cop cars is pure thuggery.
I don't remember people tearing up city's after the Casey Anthony trial.
In reply to Anti-stance:
They just want an excuse to do it......thats how it always has been. And SVreX....I'm not google searching E36 M3 about that, because I hate deciphering stuff...and anymore, its too hard to tell

Yes, this.
I am so pissed off at this thing that happened across the country from me that I am going to throw this garbage can throw this guys window!
mopar, you're closer to Indy, do we have any of this bullE36 M3 going on there? Although we have a single riot every year.....when the IBE is downtown.
And in an attempt to remind people that he is, in fact, still alive, Stevie Wonder has vowed to not perform in Florida or any state that has Stand Your Ground laws. Even though SYG wasn't used in this case.

Regarding the ongoing civil rights investigation, I will credit AG Eric Holder for using appropriate terminology, such as "death" of Mr. Martin, or "shooting" of Mr. Martin.
As for the media, the race baiting continues. Many of them are using the phrase "the killing of Trayvon Martin"
It was a tragic death, but it was NOT shown to be a killing (which is a deliberate act of causing death).
A Google search of "Holder investigates killing of Martin" will give page after page of media outlets all using the word "killing".
Riots, acts of violence, and personal injury are all the result of such irresponsible journalism.
Shameful.
In reply to moparman76_69:
Huh, with the IBE occuring now, I'd have figured there were mobs floating about by now. The police might have quarantined the Northeast side though.....

Yep. Part of the plan.

(I don't own a gun, have never taken any gun safety courses, and what I am stating here is from what I have learned on this message board)
In all fairness, if he pulled the gun out for self defense, he pulled it out to deliberately cause death if he was doing it right. You shoot to kill if it is a matter of self defense.
In reply to mtn:
True, but don't you think responsible journalists could make better choices about the words they use?
It's emotionally charged. Intentionally. It sells newspapers.

FTFY
It doesn't matter if you use one round or dump a 17rd magazine into someones chest, you shoot until there is no longer a threat.
If I could drop someone with a non-lethal shot and remove the immediate threat, I'd do it.
Self defense is to protect myself. It does not necessarily require me killing someone.
In reply to SVreX:
I agree, I was more the less fixing mtn's wording.......you never shoot to kill. Saying that is completely wrong. If you shoot to stop a threat, whether the baddie dies or not, you stopped the threat. The tricky wording can make the difference between shiney bracelets and a pat on the back.
