No, it's not the personal assistant gig
It's installing granite and marble counter tops. I met with one of the owners and a manager earlier today. I got a real good vibe from both of them. Enough that I am willing to accept the loss in pay. Apparently they had a good vibe about me as well because they emailed me about an hour after our meeting and offered me two dollars an hour more than the original offer.
It's familiar enough with my work history that I feel comfortable with the position but far enough removed that I feel I can learn something new.
Basically, I got a real good gut feeling and have learned over the years to trust those instincts. I am pretty stoked actually.

Nope, still the only vehicle I have. Supposed to rain Monday and Tuesday. I'm interested in seeing how well my cheapo wet weather gear is going to do. My wife offered to drop me off but I convinced her that I needed to drive myself so that she doesn't miss her shows in the evening to come and pick me up
