Que? Chris V?
Oh, he was a guy on the GRM board a while back who was great at posting awesome pictures of a car when someone else said it wasn't cool. I remember when the new charger came out and someone said it was lame because it had four doors, and he posted an awesome picture of a black r/t sliding sideways... He could really prove a point with a picture.
It was meant as a compliment!
Joey
That photo montage was epic haha.
The new Regal is actually a really, really damn good-looking car. I'm really impressed with it. And now a performance model!
Can I get it with roll down windows, no AC, radio, or buttons all over or tv screens that talk to me??

I have to say that Buick is putting out some really impressive stuff lately. Very appealing/relevant/marketable cars.

I've got a Regal Turbo lined up for the 1st week in August. Gonna go pick my mum up, since she's always maintained that Buicks are the creme de la creme of luxury cars. LOL, visited her in a Caddy CTS last year, she was disappointed when she saw it. "Don't you ever drive Buicks?" Sheesh.

So, are you going to show your mum how Buick has maintained a luxury image all these years?
Or, are you going to show her the other ways cars can be fun - without taking one's clothes off?

I really don't think "fun" and "cars" go together with my mum. Especially unclothed, ~shudder~
Had a couple hand-me-down Buicks I used for work/ DDs. They kinda grew on me. Very comfortable and the 3.8 was great.
I saw a new Regal recently, but it was in that off-silver, a color that just bugs me. Buick has its off-silver and Lexus has its off-gold. What is their influences, porridge and cream of wheat?

Oooh, ooh! Photo montage time again!
Buick really was on their game for awhile.
Starting with the Skylark:
Although the Super's were pretty hot, too:
My favorite is the Electra:
Then came the Riviera:
And the boattail:
The Gran Sport was pretty luxurious, too:
Then came the Regal's:
I always thought the re-booted Riviera was cool, too:

I would Google search the saga of the Opel CEO saying his cars were good for 99K miles (160,000 KM), and after that you were on iffy ground. The above Buick is an Opel.
If you would buy that car after the Catera debacle, you are nuts.
That is going to be one of those cars that just disappears from the roads after 6-7 years, and owners are going to take a bath.
I'm biased. I have somone who got screwed by the Catera, partly after I thought it was worth looking at, at par with the Asian brands of the time. It was *not*!
All I found was that he did a 160k km warranty on their cars.
I too, am a die-hard Honda loyalist who has piled hundreds of thousands of miles on their cars.
That said, I'm trying to have some faith in this latest crop of American cars.
The Catera was quite awhile ago, and I'd like to think they've stepped up a bit on their QC/R&D since then...
