It's a fun read. I've used a number of the things mentioned in there over the years.

Thanks, gotta read that later, no time for something this long at work though

"The application of effort to overcome a resistance has been a challenge to man since the beginning of civilization" - actual quote from page 6 of 167.

super awesome. I just skimmed it, seriously, this manual is full of awesome ideas. For example: Vapor lock? no problem, just throw a wet rag on the fuel pump.

Should be labeled "Aggie Rigging." Interesting read.

I had a friend that could have written the most of that book. The parts about fixing stuff with nothing, like wrapping fuel lines, etc. If you were broke down, he could get you going with nothing other than what's found on the side of the road and a barb wire pliers tool, basically. He worked as a Harley mechanic. Unfortunately, he did all his repair work like that, even if he had the right tools and parts. Finally blew his brains out one night with a 44 magnum in front of his ol' lady of 15 years. There were a bunch of Bandits at his funeral, but no one had the guts to ride his bike, as it was too dangerous. They put his ashes on the seat and put the bike on a trailer. RIP, Gypsy.
