SUV, really.
I heard of an Xterra that got hydrolocked in the storm here a week ago, and I went to look at it today since I was going to be in the area.
Original owner car, one of the colors I like. It has pretty much brand new tires (like 50 documented miles on Michelin LTX A/T 2), every option, etc. They wanted $800, which is pretty much what the tires cost. As an added bonus, there are two Xterras sitting in LKQs nearby with good engines that would drop right in. .
I passed on it. I passed on car that I could fix in a couple of days and flip for at least two times what I paid for it, because I think I have too many projects right now.
This is a first.
I read the title as "Just pissed on a car", and I thought, what kind of traffic shenanigans are going on now?
no sweat, somebody else will pick it up
if not it will come back to you... if it was 'meant to be'
It never made it to public sale, the people involved are in Tarheel Sports Car Club.
Plus, they called me yesterday evening and offered it to me for $350.
I couldn't say no at that price.
Now, to ask questions about engine donors.

Well, that turned out better than expected.
Good luck with the repair/swap.
It might motivate me to get off my rear and finish swapping the engine into the RX-8, too. I really want to drive that car and I need the room more than ever.

I was going to say at that price I'll take it. Glad you got it.
Aaaaand I found an engine donor. Paid a bit more than I wanted to, but it only has 68k miles on the engine.
I took Friday off to finish up the RX-8. Yeah, that is still lingering.
