I'm sure this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it seems pretty GRM. Guy wants E-Type but can't afford it. So he proceeds to grab up an unwanted E-Type 2+2, piece it together with castoff junk body panels that other people were throwing it out, drop it over an oddball kit car chassis, and installs screaming magic doritos.

that some pretty nasty geometry going on there plus zero tire clearance in the front.

If you read the article, the guy building it admits that he slammed the car on the ground specifically for the photo shoot just to make it look real gnarly. I also expect that the front fender will get chopped for flares.

Whether I like it or not will depend on how much time and effort he spends purposely making it look like a pile of crap.

Builder said that he intends to fix up the butchered taillight panel where a previous owner tried to adapt Ferrari taillights (yikes) and his previous build was a flawless VW K70 wagon dropped over a Passat W8 4Motion chassis and running gear, so I think he'll clean this car up before it's done.

The front glass will probably cost more than any single part on the vehicle.
While it certainly will be sexy once it's finished, I don't think anything will match this level of "oh lordy":

Cool. I'm not even saying he has to clean it all up and dress it all out. He just shouldn't try to make it look worse on purpose, like so many people do these days.

It's a Jaaaaaaaag that goes Braaaaaaaap
Jag purists hate that E36 M3. This was once my car, many years ago. Kids and non-Jag car guys would give me thumbs up EVERYWHERE. That car probably got more attention than almost any car I've ever had. But Jag purists would have such a look of disdain on their face it was silly. Had a hopped up 302 with a C4 auto, nasty sounding exhaust. I sold it probably 12 years ago via some Jag site, I don't even remember which one. No joke, every other month or so, I still get an inquiry if I still have the car. Guess there's no date on the ad.

Bitch'n car!
Reminds me of the Ferrari 250 that an acquaintance asked me to broker for him. At one point the V12 went kaput, so he sold the dead engine and had a Chevy 350 crate motor dropped in it. I couldn't get ANYONE interested in the car. The Ferrari guys were foaming at the mouth pissed, and the hot rod guys wouldn't offer near what the owner wanted for it.
I ended up walking away from the thing (and a healthy potential commission), not sure if he ever sold it.

Ill support anything with a 3 rotor
I'm a Jag enthusiast (recently sold my E-type). I don't know if you'd call me a "purist," necessarily, but I couldn't really give a E36 M3 what you do to a 2+2. Those things were so fugly out of the factory they deserve whatever happens to them. On the other hand, start trying to "improve" a Series 1 and you'll get my most severe finger wag and "tut, tut!"

Is the frame in the front intentionally bent and asymmetric?
I mean, it's a cool idea, but execution looks like the 3 wheel trike guy

It's on Speedhunters. Every once in a while you'll see a cool build on there, but usually everything is done for the sake of looks over function.
It's why another magazine started floating the phrase "Hellafunctional" around in opposition to Speedhunter's "Hellaflush."
Paint it a fleshy color please

The frame and suspension are from an oddball kit car called a Luego Viento V8, that is a V8 Lotus 7 knockoff, so no clue if that is original or modified for the Jaaaaaaaaaag

Way too long in the front aesthetically for my taste, I think these cars are overrated in terms of design. 2000gt is soo much more proportional to my eye.
