they clean it up on occasion.. but you will find a lot of clubs put their name on the track. I know the guys from Bimmerforums did it once.
I always wondered what it did for traction.. has to make the track surface more slippery. Personally, I would not want to be responsible for a crash (or worse) for the paint I put on the track

Not only have I seen it in other 'Ring videos, but it's in GT5 too.
The scary part is, the graffiti on the GT5 version is accurate. Or at least, it looks really familiar.
