This country makes me immensely sad sometimes.
What ever happened to fostering curiousity and asking questions? What ever happened to valuing and growing a culture of intellegence? It's no wonder the rest of the world is starting to leave us behind.
And they just keep electing these same idiots. If they want to stay stupid, let them. It would be nice of we could just drop their test results off our average though.
el oh berkeleying el
I'm glad that I live in a northern southern state, and that our elected officials aren't that "out of it"

There is a one word answer, but it's a huge flounder, so I'll avoid being that guy this time.

I am willing to bet they are just as out of it in some other way.

Tsk-tsk-tsk. Embrace your inner flat fish. Let the chips fall where they may.
This coming to you from the same state that has a huge "amusement park" dedicated to teaching Creationism.
Shocker.
You can DEFINITIVELY say there wasn't a creation?
You can DEFINITIVELY say that evolution was the cause for you being here?
Do you have absolute incontrovertible proof of either?

Didn't Indiana refuse to change between Daylight Savings/Standard time until 2006?

Gravity is just a theory too and I dare say we know a whole lot more about how DNA evolves. Do you refute gravity as well?
edit:
Never mind, this is GRM, I like this community, so I'm going to kindly step out of this conversation before I start becoming abrasive.

Yep, and there's a reason for it. In particular, where Yamaha, Bobzilla, and I live, we're too close to CST.
DST REALLY berkeleys everything up, and not in a good way. Having to get black out blinds because you want to go to bed at 10:30PM is STUPID.

moron hoosiers said:INDIANAPOLIS | Overturning a common law dating back to the English Magna Carta of 1215, the Indiana Supreme Court ruled Thursday that Hoosiers have no right to resist unlawful police entry into their homes.
In a 3-2 decision, Justice Steven David writing for the court said if a police officer wants to enter a home for any reason or no reason at all, a homeowner cannot do anything to block the officer's entry.
"We believe ... a right to resist an unlawful police entry into a home is against public policy and is incompatible with modern Fourth Amendment jurisprudence," David said. "We also find that allowing resistance unnecessarily escalates the level of violence and therefore the risk of injuries to all parties involved without preventing the arrest."
assclowns and jacktards masquerading as state supreme court "judges"
and another one - this one is fox news...for better or worse

I can say DEFINITIVELY that there are. They are all over my wallpaper and I even have a few pairs of Underoos featuring them prominently.

This is why we can't have nice things...or properly educated children

TOO LATE! Bahahahaha! Preserved for all eternity in my "Quote".
Oh, good grief. It amuses me how eager people are to demonstrate their brilliant intellect by attacking the religious. I'm not going to choose sides, but it's no secret that Darwin's theory is full of holes.

A wise man named Thomas Jefferson once said: "The wise know their weakness too well to assume infallibility; and he who knows most, knows best how little he knows."
