He mocks the intelligence of the average social network user right in front of their faces too. When Google+ launched, he made an account and then closed it because he "didn't want Google tracking him all over the web."

Ironically enough, most of the reason I never joined FB is because I didn't like the idea of a huge network that was externally inaccessible.
That's a big reason I don't like it, these things are just black holes for information, on top of the exclusivity problem. A lot will be lost when Facebook does a Geocities...except it will be too big to make an archive at the last minute.
