here's my submission: my wife and kids bought me the "Lemons Chump Drivers Package" of safety gear from RaceDaySafety.com, after calling the GRM offices for advice and getting the recommendation from Joe (Gearin, i assume). One-piece single-layer suit, long underwear top and bottom, Nomex socks, gloves, shoes, and neck collar. All SFI. I'm stoked for two reasons:
1. no more borrowing gear, and
2. clearly she expects me to keep racing!
Well, I have been shopping for a new (to him) street stock on behalf of a friends wife who thinks he should move up out of the 4 cylinder class. Have to narrow it down tomorrow.
Nothing that good, but I got timing belt components and tools for my 944 (of course I still have to buy them wholesale at work), and a Skate deck with P-car 2.7 RS artwork on it. I was pretty pumped.
For Christmas, my ranger is getting a new clutch kit and a transmission paint job.
Your family did a fantastic job, along with Joe. I would love some gear, although, I'd love to get some used to save cash. I believe there was a thread about it. I guess its time to search.
As for the family, my new nephew is getting all the attention. No need for anything else, besides the awkward gifts from goodwill and Harbor Freight.
In addition, bearmtnmartin, you need to change your avatar. It makes me want to get back to work on the S13 and I no have the $$$$.

I will because it is im the middle of a major overhaul and will look quite different when I am done......
I got a Kindle Fire from my parents this year. so far, it's proving to be pretty kick ass at surfing and such. I may or may not root it, depending on my ability to leave well enough alone.
