Kinda makes you wonder why no one else thought of this before, huh?

Holy crap. Makes perfect sense in hindsight only if you ask the question... "Who is nature's best gatherer of light"

Very cool.

I can guarantee you that when I was 13 I wasn't pondering applications of the Fibanocci sequence.

Yeah, I kind of wish I hadn't posted that. I wasn't thinking anything near what these other perverts are talking about.

I wouldn't mind if they went back and edited their posts, if for no other reason than taking my name out of them.

Back on topic.

Now I'm going to burst everyone's feel-good bubble about this kid.

Cache'd version of a post debunking the kid's work and (probably rightly so) blaming the media for the hype.

Somebody's compensating.

With or without all the in-depth analysis, the flaws in the experiment are obvious.

Sub-optimal arrangement of panels and magic fairy dust do not make 50% more electricity electricity when arranged in a series of sub-optimal arrays.

It's a little like saying, "Maybe if I grind ALL of the cylinders and ports just a little bit differently from each other, they might perform 50% better once I eff up all 8 cylinders". It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the flaw.

re.Tampax Audibles, a big help would be if they'd just tell us of their presence, especially in a bar / club scenario:
