If you haven't heard it, it's worth a listen.
As a child of the "Warner Brother's era", I lol'd at "right turn at Albuquerque". I've heard the story before, but never told first hand. Thanks

Skunk Works is also a great read, Kelly Johnson and his crew did some amazing work.
I personally always loved this story about how SLOW a blackbird can fly.
I've read the story but never heard the first-hand account like that. He delivers it like a stand-up routine - love it!
I came across another SR-71 story told by a pilot about doing a flyover of a commercial tower: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTJYNq4GQAE
I played that for my son and his friend while we were en route to the Air Force Museum, both kids were in 5th grade and talked about it the rest of the way there. Great story.
I believe the same guy has a story of a slow low flyby at an old RAF airfield for some air cadets. In summary, they were flying in mist and couldn’t find the tower. The pilot realized they were below flying speed so he hit the afterburners just as they came out of the clouds at the tower. The story isn’t nearly as funny as the other until he talks about how the events had morphed over time.
