47th Annual event - August 27 & 28.
It's in off topic because it's not car related. I usually run up on the bike, easier to find parking. Free event, lots of old stuff gets pulled out for this one. Lake George, NY is the home of Hacker Craft and Gar Wood boat companies.
Went for a ride one year in a 36ft. triple cockpit boat with green leather interiors. I explained to the older salesman that I wasn't in the market but he insisted, "I want to go for a ride". OK. Man it was a NICE boat.
Lake George is certainly a beautiful area. I remember the "Mail Boat" on Skaneateles Lake when I was a kid. My Grandparents had a place on the lake. We used to ride the wake as it passed by. A neighbor had beautiful wooden Chris Craft, open cockpit, that I always begged to ride in. Good times.
I miss Lake George; haven't seen my family there in ages. It's too late to make travel plans for August, but that looks like a cool event.

Love me some beautiful wood boats!
Lake Minnetonka's Wood boat show is usually later in the summer. Once all the newbies have figured out how to handle their boats.
I grew up with most of my neighbors having boats like this. Or Big wooden Cruisers
When I lived in Rome we went to Lake George all the time, my dads friend had a house on the water and we would just hang out on the boats or the lawn. Good memories.
