My kids got me the RSR, 930, and a 5.0 Mustang for Father’s Day. And then put them together why I watched and drank coffee. I was only allowed to do the stickers. They sit on display on the corner of my desk now.
It was a good day.
Sounds like a great day! Is it the blue 5.0 with a white center stripe? My daughter has that one, it was the first Speed Champions set I had seen in person.
You guys are the worst! BrickLink is a wonderful, unholy timesuck. A little bit like searching "80s WWF" or "the muppet show" on youtube...The next thing you know its 3 days later and you haven't eaten or bathed...

Yep same one. They are racing across my desk. The 930 is winning, because air cooled...
Funny, I already had the Fiesta and 919. I had to do a report on Lego Marketing and felt that some purchases were necessary for "research".

Sounds like it's time for a follow-up report then, hmmm?
So a follow-up is in order. The Porsche 911 set was epically good! I really enjoyed building both the modern and the classic in that set and they both look great and are very clever. The 919 Hybrid was of course awesome. The Ford GT and GT40 were both really good.
The Ferrari 488 GTB was a huge letdown. Lego clearly phoned it in on this one. Nearly every unique detail was made with a sticker and it looks clunky and inaccurate. Easily the worst of the six I have. Watch me spend 30 minutes building it in about 10 seconds...
I think I have too many now? My son has the two other cars (Audi and McLaren P1) not in this picture that he has already used for parts for his other Lego sets. :/
I don't see any F1 cars in that picture. You obviously do not have enough.
Some stores not all (Target/Walmart) have some markdown the Speed Champions Legos to clear them out for other new Legos sets coming in. So you might want to check. I was surprised that some have gotten retired quickly. I hope the line is not being discontinued yet after 2019. The line is now 5 years old.
The messed up part is the Blue Camaro and red Ferrari F40 was on clearance at my Walmart. These were supposed to be new for 2019!
I finally built my F40. It took me this long because I was trying to figure out time lapse:
Miniatures Monday
I don't know if I mentioned it, but I bought one of the kits from your original post and used it in the white elephant gift exchange with my family. My nephew, a lego addict and former lego store employee, got it and *loved*it*. So thanks!

Awesome! I figured if I loved them so much, then a lot of you would as well.
Just received the Porsche 930 & 991 kit. Not sure whether to show it to my kids or keep it for myself ;)
FYI - The Porsche 930 from the dual kit is now available by itself in white!!
I can't stop building these things. Although, I don't always stick to the instructions. Like this Mclaren ute:
The Charger/Challenger set became a custom street racer and a shovel-nosed hillclimb car:

You have definitely improved both of those kits!
I thought this might have been posted here already, but since it's not...Jaguar Formula E set coming next year! Looks pretty good, the cars are now 8 studs wide which looks pretty good for these examples...I wonder if future cars will be this wide.

In reply to slowbird :
The FE car is still 6 studs. It's only the fat SUV thing that's 8.
In reply to Javelin :
Hmm, I tried to count them but the angles might have thrown me for a loop. Regardless, the new wider windscreen from the I-PACE will hopefully be nice to have for custom builds. (unless the lettering is printed on)
Not a Speed Champion set but I finally got this together:
I have wanted this set since it came out but there was no way I was going to pay full price for it. I found an open one on ShopGoodWill for a good price and snapped it up. The package comes in the mail and of course it is missing stuff, should have looked at the pictures closer. Anyway, I ordered the sticker sheets from LEGO and another complete knock off kit from Wish. I didn’t feel bad getting the fake one since I had most of a legit set and surprising the fake one was really nice. All in all I am still under what a new LEGO kit would have cost, now to order the 919 hybrid Wish has.
Nice! I don't always like the Technic sets, but that one looks good.
Might as well post some of my other Legos here...the big Mustang makes a good home for a Duplo kitty:
Various experimental open-wheel hillclimb cars:
This off-brand "3 in 1" kit came with 6 wheels to build a big rig...but I made a 6-wheel F1 car instead:
And here's a sneak peek of my Lego-scale replica of my Challenge car:
