FYI, we've taken our 2016 Explorer into Ford 3+ times for infotainment issues with no resolution and now it's out of warrantee...it really sucks.

Error404 said:Have they said anything about nannies? I would like to like this, I like a lot of what they're doing but I'm not interested in paying for gadgets that I don't want, need, or use. I get that backup cameras are required because people are lazy but I can fix that. The nannies and integrated infotainment crud, though, are probably harder to fix. And that's not even counting that they forgot the keyhole... If I send a really, really polite email do you think they'd sell me a stripped down version with a physical key? Heck I'd supply my own gauges if need be, I've already been on Summit looking for the Mustang.
I assume base model will have a real key like the ranger.
Locked in a reservation for a first edition and an outer banks edition. Hopefully the OB one will be orange with the Sasquatch package.

But he's probably still trying to figure out what the hell rhymes with Bronco.

LIkely to be a PHEV variant coming at some point too. At least if this picture of the digital gauges is correct

I love everything about this.

That seems like a lot of money for a Ranger! Although I am sure the Bronco will be more, and it has a worse tow rating.
My money would be on a Taco TRD Pro for that price since those things don't depreciate...

oh i put that wrong, that was for an f150 XL Sport appearance with all the tow stuff, FX4 Package i edited my post

Oh now that makes sense! You won't be able to Moab as well as a Bronco, but everything else will be so much better save for street parking in a city.

im waiting on dimensions as well for the bronco before i contemplate my purchase of a classic mini. Also to see how E36 M3 the economy goes to next year. if it isnt top heavy and is wider than it is tall, I will wait for a bronco.

Seems like there are enough good tire manufacturers out there these days, that they wouldn't even consider putting Goodyear Wranglers on their Bronco.
Ford To Goodyear: Get 'Wrangler' Off The Bronco's Tires
I saw that. I was much more amused than the fiancee

"I bought some E36 M3 off the TV from Ronco..."

And you'd pay closer to 50 than 40 for that privilege. Also the taco doesn't fit taller people very well unless you get one without the moonroof. Which is mandatory on the trd pro and anything with the premium package (leather, jbl, etc). They also only really hold value if you don't put many miles on them, with higher miles, the price does drop more like a normal car.
I tried to buy a ranger but the dealers wanted to play so many games I just said forget it in the end.

Thanks, I'm pretty excited. I think they hit a home run with this,
I found the curb weight(s):
The first column is for the 2 door; second is the 4 door.
It's, uhhh, kinda portly. My 2012 2 door Wrangler weighed 3760lbs. It was pretty sprightly with the 285hp Pentastar and 6 speed manual. I wonder how the manual 2.3T Bronco will drive? It makes 50 more lb ft of torque than the 3.6L Pentastar (310 vs 260). Do you think the extra torque will help overcome the 600lb weight disadvantage? I really hope it feels sportier than it looks on paper.
In reply to stanger_mussle (Forum Supporter) :
Kind of interesting that the 4 door is only about 200lbs heavier than the 2 door. I would've guessed more, even with the doors being aluminum.
