A bit more of a review, I did a couple quick strips in the yard last night but it was dark and damp so I didn't mow the whole yard.

Today, I mowed front and back with the push mower.

The back grass is occupied by my two dogs so there is no hope of having a nice looking yard. It's mostly quack grass, weeds and dandelions, all about 6" tall since the gas mower gave up before cutting the back yard last week.

The mower worked great in the back yard, it pushed through the tall grass in the middle height setting and was about as hard to push as a non-self-propelled gas mower. It took a good shove once or twice when the quack grass got really thick. I have fir trees in the yard as well and sticks up to about chopstick size get processed by the mower easily. Fiskars added a flywheel to the reel so it gets some energy stored up when you get it going. The back grass is now about 3" tall.

The front yard was a breeze, very little effort. Mower was about as hard to push as one of the plastic decked electrics I've seen. I keep the front about 2" high, I took an inch off this morning with the push mower.

It usually took about 40 minutes to do front and back lawns, It was maybe an hour this morning with the push mower.

No gas bill, no maintnenance.

I can't believe how easy this thing is to push compared to other reel mowers. There is very little friction since the blades don't actually touch and they are very sharp.

Fiskars has you set the stationary blade up so that it does not touch the reel blades but will cut a piece of paper when you turn the reel.

It works great so far. We'll see what happens in the fall when the cherry trees in the front yard start dropping leaves.
