i have watched the videos on utube, dont think i can do that, prepping, cutting, taping, triming, layering etc etc...Is there a flat thick sheeted material maybe fiber glass (that looks like carbon fiber) that i can cut without messing up the edges then glue it to some flat surfaces without a lot of fuss and feathers???

Try pre-preg carbon. It is already impregnated with adhesive and cures within a short time after exposing it to air.

What are you doing with this? I just re-read your post and if you're just gluing sheet to flat surfaces, then you can buy all kinds of cured carbon fiber sheet. Also available in kevlar, fiberglass, aramid, you name it.
