Check EBay for a Solotec Plow.
Made of plastic and designed for cars. Went out of business years ago, but they actually worked for your situation quite well!

I said: Anyway, I was thinking of how badass it would've been if I could've thrown on my bitchin Mr. Plow denim jacket and cleared the neighborhood.
You know it!!! I think...I have...a...plan. Looks like I'm going 90% wood, 10% steel, 100% awesome. Pull-behind. I will shoot for a total investment of less than $20.
Got a friend of mine that lives in a cul-de-sac. He owned a Buick. One winter the Buick turned into a plow truck.
He bolted a buncha 2x4's and plywood ( there might have been part of a picnic table in there too, I can't remember) to the back bumper of his car and made a quick disconnect system. On the night before a storm, he'd pull into his drive and bolt the plow on. The next morn, he'd back up and push all the snow out of the drive.
Do you have an army handy?

It takes an efficient, organized effort to shovel snow quickly. Government buildings loom in the background.
There are lots of used snow plows for sale or not around here. For light snow an ATV and halfof a 55 gal drum would work. They even have plows for ATV.
Many plow companies make light duty plows as well. How about attaching a snow blower to the front of an ATV.
I knew a guy that built a little trailer for his snow blower. Just big enough to stand on. He had a very long drive way.

We get a lot more snow in Ohio than you do in Georgia, and I've never found myself thinking "damn, this sucks" when I'm outside getting exercise in the middle of the winter. Beats sitting on the couch hiding from the cold some more. I actually like it more than mowing the lawn during the summer... Edit: Okilie dokilie, I'm an idiot. I didn't read your post about wanting to do the neighborhood. You know, the first post in the thread? Yeah, that one. Carry on, sorry for the interruption.
About the third one it starts getting old. The heckleing from the poeple who decided to go out in the middle of the storm and are waiting for a ride back is almost worse than the digging. As far as plowing goes get a big tranny cooler. Snow gets very heavy and the tranny, axles ect all suffer
You live in Atlanta? This is a perfect excuse to buy a quad with a plow. They're not the greatest way to move a lot of snow and unless you're plowing a sidewalk, it will take forever, but for the rest of the year, you get to have a quad!

I'm worried about what happens when you need to turn and the neighbor's taurus wagon is parked on the apex...
