I've got 2 frozen hunks of meat roughly 4LBS to use. How do I cook them in a slow cooker?
Liquid or no liquid
Frozen veggies mixed in the entire time or cooked separately
cut up onion, and some spices on top. Or is there more to it?

Slow cooker? With a can of mushroom soup diluted to almost covering and some onion if you like the meat, set in the morning on high then early afternoon change to low heat and add veggies of choice. I usually add some cut up potatoes, carrots, whatever. Meal ready at dinner time.
My Mom used to take the left over meat and shredd, add salsa and some corn and slow cook again for burrito mix. I've done it instead of a roast. Cook meat w/seasoning then shred and cook on low for a little while.

I go with a rub down of cider vinegar and olive oil, celery salt, crushed black pepper and a touch of Cajun blend.

Here's what to do: Pour in a can of beer. Add some brown sugar, paprika and garlic powder. Cook for hours. Enjoy.
Throw the slow cooker away, buy a meat thermometer, stick it on a rack in an open pan at 375 with some cracked pepper and salt on the fat, remove when thermometer reads 145.
Use garlic bread to soak up the lovely red juices.
Meat? Pork, beef or venison?
Spices will change with application.
Can of coke plus pkg of onion soup mix plus meat in 250 oven overnight. Remove to cool then put in fridge while you are at work. After work pull out hardened fat and discard, mix liquid with can of mushroom soup and add baby carrots and cubed potatoes. Cook at 350 until heated through and veggies are done, 2.5-3.5 hrs.
Slow cooker or crock pot that is low overnight, cool, then high until veggies are done.
Cheapest, toughest chunk of meat will be fork tender, and you can start with the meat still frozen.
First, sear it until the smoke detector goes off and people are asking you "should I be calling 911?"
Searing it keeps the juicy goodness inside.
The rest is fine.
Sear the E36 M3 out of it, put on a layer of carrots in slow cooker, surround with quartered onions, potatoes, garlic cloves, lawry's salt and pepper, run until it starts falling apart. I add a little (1/2 cup) water to get things started, the meat and veggies put out plenty of liquid. When it's done pull everything out and make gravy from the juices.
